PULL UP KING

This policy explains what PULL UP KING (“the app”) collects, why, where it goes, and how to get rid of it. Where a service is named, that is a service the app actually contacts.

1. What the app collects

The app does not collect your name, phone number, address, date of birth, precise location, contacts, or health data from other apps.

2. Camera

The app uses the camera to count repetitions. Pose estimation runs entirely on your device — the camera feed is never uploaded, and no image or video leaves your device for counting purposes.

If automatic video recording is enabled, clips are written to the app’s private storage on your device. Videos are never uploaded — not even when your workout records are synced. Uninstalling the app deletes them.

3. Purchases

Subscriptions are sold by Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iOS). We never receive or store your card number or payment credentials — the store handles payment.

To confirm a purchase is genuine, the app sends the purchase token issued by the store to our Cloud Functions server, which asks Google or Apple to validate it. The result — active or not, which plan, and when it expires — is stored in Firestore against your account identifier.

4. Notifications

With your permission, the app schedules reminders. These are generated on your device; the app does not run a push server and does not transmit anything to schedule them. You can revoke the permission in your system settings at any time.

5. Advertising and analytics

The app displays no advertising. It does use Firebase Analytics to decide what to fix next: the events listed in section 1 record which screens you reach and where you stop. No personal data goes into these events — not your email address, account identifier, or purchase token. Only event names, numbers, and short labels such as a plan name.

The analytics SDK itself also collects an app instance identifier and, on Android, the advertising identifier. We do not use these for advertising and we do not build advertising profiles from them.

This website. The pages at pullup-king.web.app use Google Analytics to count visits and to see which link brought you here — for example a video on Reels, Shorts or TikTok — and whether you then went on to the App Store or Google Play. It records the page you viewed, how far you scrolled, the links you clicked, an approximate location from your IP address (country and city, never the address itself), and your browser and device type. It does not identify you, and it is not connected to any account you have in the app.

Crash reporting (section 1) is the other automated diagnostic collection.

If this changes, this policy will be updated before the feature ships.

6. Who else can see your data

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising. Data is processed by these providers on our behalf:

• Google LLC — Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions, Crashlytics, Firebase Analytics, Google Play Billing
• Apple Inc. — Sign in with Apple and App Store purchase validation, on iOS

We may disclose data where required by law.

7. Where data is processed

Our Firebase project stores data in Google data centres. Depending on the service, this may include regions outside your country, including the United States. Google and Apple apply their own safeguards for international transfers.

8. How long it is kept

• Account and subscription records: until you delete your account.
• Deletion record: 90 days after deletion, then removed automatically. This is the one thing that outlives your account — we keep it so we can answer if you contact us afterwards.
• Crash reports: retained by Crashlytics on Google’s standard schedule (up to 90 days).
• Usage events: retained by Firebase Analytics on Google’s standard schedule (up to 14 months).
• Workout records: on your device and under your account until you delete them or delete your account.
• Workout videos: on your device until you delete them or uninstall the app.

9. Your choices

• Delete your account — Settings → Delete account. This deletes your sign-in account, every workout record on the device and on our server, and every video on the device. A subscription record may remain on our server for a short time; email us at the address below and we will remove it. We also keep a deletion record for 90 days (section 1) — you can ask us to remove that too.
• Cancel your subscription first. A subscription belongs to the store account that paid for it, not to your app account. Deleting the app account does not cancel it, and you would keep being charged. Cancel in Google Play or in iOS Settings → your name → Subscriptions before deleting.
• Delete local data — uninstalling the app removes all workout records and videos from the device.
• Turn off video recording — Settings.
• Request a copy or deletion of your data — email us at the address below.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to object to processing. Contact us and we will respond.

10. Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update it here and notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
